How We Work

We believe sustainable improvement requires systemic change in the strategies, structures, shared values and responsibility of organisations, and the motivation, engagement, attitudes and capabilities of people in those organisations. We believe certainty of purpose in an uncertain world should be underwritten by an underlying respect and regard for people, be they producers, consumers, employees, or neighbouring communities. We put people first.

How does this translate into how we work?

	First, it governs the engagements we will accept. We will not work for a cynically exploitative organisation or individual whose agenda we do not trust. We will not compromise our ethics.
	Second, it governs our relationships. Our relationships with ourselves, our clients, our associates and our community are founded on mutual respect, trust and loyalty.
	Third, it governs our execution. We expect no less than excellence and intelligence in the performance of our engagements. We also expect honesty, integrity and compassion in how we deliver those engagements.
	Finally, it governs every aspect of how we run our business. In every decision we take, from the big to the small, we apply the same considerations and try to make the better, more responsible choice.

A demonstration of our own commitment to corporate social responsibility, is the fact that all members of the Partnership have worked, or are working, within Hanover Foundations. Dedicated to turning around the lives of young people by using performance management programmes from business, Hanover Foundations is a highly respected charitable trust working in the education sector.

For us, our involvement with Hanover Foundations is an opportunity to improve the lives of young people as they prepare at school, academy, and college for later life. This fits well with Hanover Partnership's aim of improving lives of people in the workplace. It links business with education.
